Red Carnations Hotel FAM Trip

(Montague Gardens Hotel,

Chesterfield Mayfair Hotel,

Rubens At the Palace)

Family owned and award-winning, Red Carnation Hotels run 17 boutique hotels located in the UK, Ireland, South Africa, Switzerland and the USA, as well as a country gastro-pub in Dorset.

Each with their own excellent event spaces full of character and infamous afternoon teas, each hotel has something special to offer for every event.

Their signature red carnation flowers decorated around the venues, easily identifies the hotels amongst your average, and from the treatment we received, they are certainly venues we will not forget!

Us Crazy Cows started off at the Montague Hotel, which is based in Bloomsbury. The venue is best known for its fantastic private dining spaces, featuring a newly refurbished terraced area, perfect for Summer AND Winter events!

We were fortunate enough to taste the hotel’s scrumptious canapés and ice cold champagne throughout our tour of the private event spaces.

Next we had the pleasure of visiting the Chesterfield Hotel, which is ideal for glamorous Christmas events as well as intimate business events, perfectly situated in the luxurious Mayfair area.

The hotel has the perfect interior for classic Christmas party events, playing host to a fabulous dining area for up to 140 guests, surrounding an ingeniously designed dance floor area.

The Chesterfield also showcased their incredible Gin & Tonic experience in their cosy bar lounge, accompanied with freshly cooked treats to eat, which we couldn’t recommend more!

With the hotels very own specialist sommeliers as well as Willy Wonka themed afternoon teas (with homemade Wonka bars!) every event can be accompanied with these fantastic experiences.

Thirdly, Red Carnations Rubens Hotel was the last venue of the day to really impress us. With direct views of Buckingham Palace, as well as siting adjacent to the South African Bbar venue, the venue certainly met beyond our expectations.

The hotel features high class lounge areas, perfect for the hotels signature afternoon teas whilst accompanied by a live pianist every day of the week.

The dining areas of the hotel are brilliantly designed to cater for all event sizes. The wonderful event staff event went all out by offering us Crazy Cow’s our very own (edible!!) bespoke Christmas decorations.

We also had the delight of enjoying an afternoon tea in  The Ruben’s  leopard lounge, a beautiful imitate event space with its own private bar and view of the Buckingham Palace gates.

Prior to this, we took a trip to Bbar, just next to the hotel. The venue has not only excellent dining space, but also on the ground floor, the venue offers a private room, ideal for approx. 50 guests for a variety of celebratory events throughout the year- which is also very competitively priced.

With bespoke packages tailor made for every enquiry, no client will be left unsatisfied at Red Carnation Hotels. Thank you, it was the perfect way to end a rainy Monday!
