Photo Box’s Sci-Fi New Year Bash
The Crazy Cows love running events for our great clients and in January we had the privilege of managing Photo Box’s sci-fi New Year party at the Steel Yard in Blackfriars.
The Steelyard is a new venue set in the heart of the City of London. It is set in three railway arches beneath Cannon Street Bridge and has a capacity of 500 in one cavernous main room, with an adjoining bar arch and split level mezzanine area.
The New Year Bash was attended by 500 of Photo Box’s staff. We incorporated the sci-fi theming into many parts of the event including a 10ft floating astronaut, a space photo wall and glitter artists sprucing up the guests.
Music provided by a DJ and an 11-piece band was a key part of the evening’s entertainment. The band really got the party jumping early on and before you could say “We have lift-off”, the guests were on the dance floor and rocketing into the night.
Photo Box decided that the New Year Bash would be a standing event with an unlimited drinks package. And with numerous delicious dishes to choose from, the company opted to provide its partying staff with the following bowl food:
In order to ensure that all 500 guests were fed properly Crazy Cow Events arranged for hot food stations across the venue as well as a waitress service. This ensured that wherever the guests were in the venue they all managed to grab enough food. Photo Box also treated everyone to a late night pizza, served from quirky pizza boxes – a treat the guests absolutely loved and heartily devoured.
Crazy Cow Events was responsible for everything that went into this spectacular and highly successful event – from sourcing the venue to sorting out the guest list, transport, catering, décor, entertainment, theming and all the event management on the night.
You name it, we can do it. We love making sure your event is a big success and runs smoothly and completely stress free.
“I want to say a huge thank you for all your support and fantastic ideas. It has been a pleasure to have worked with yourself and Ellie.” Photo Box 2016
